Principal and Teacher
Claire has a BA Hons Degree in Performing Arts and has worked within the world of Performing Arts for over 12 years, both as a performer and a teacher. Her work includes theatre in education, pantomimes, holiday parks, show teams, teaching and entertainment management, both on land and at sea. Claire has taught Performing Arts to children of all agss for over 12 years at both International and Independent stage schools. She is passionate about bringing the dream of performing to reality and to fill every child with confidence. As a parent herself she knows how important it is for your child to feel happy and confident as well as learning new skills in a safe environment.
Lucy trained in musical theatre at CAPA College and in contemporary dance with Phoenix Dance Theatre and the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Most recently, she worked alongside Strictly Come Dancing choreographer Matt Flint on Sheffield Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls. She has danced with Momentum Dance Company in various theatres across the UK and has a variety of performance credits in both dance and theatre. Alongside performing, she teaches dance, drama and musical theatre for various companies across Leeds and Wakefield including Phoenix Dance Theatre and Northern Ballet. Lucy is an advocate for dance and is a One Dance UK Ambassador and a Dance Consortium Future Leader and consequently takes part in various youth dance platforms and advocacy events across the UK. She is excited to be teaching dance to everybody at Stage Door.
Principal and Teacher
Jon Moses was a finalist on ITV's Superstar, which was Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for Jesus Christ Superstar. Jon performed for millions of viewers and had the pleasure of working with Mel C, Amanda Holden, Jason Donovan and Dawn French. Since the show, Jon has been in high demand touring worldwide, including the London O2 Arena and also performing the role of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar at Gloucester Cathedral. Jon is passionate, charismatic, and influential, as well as being a superb vocalist across many fields from Rock to Classical. He is an inspiration to many aspiring performers being a key judge at national singing competitions "Teen Star" and "Open Mic UK". Due to Jon's personable nature he also hosts the Pride Awards that are held every year across the UK. 2017 saw Jon launching his new show and album "Journey" that shot to number 5 in the charts!!!! He has continued to tour worldwide, and opened up the British Basketball League Finals live at the London O2 Arena live on Sky and BBC. Jon’s most recent notable performances have been with Scott Alan and Miranda Sings in London’s West End.
Jon is loving working with all the children at Stage Door Performing Arts and is excited to be working with the students again next term.
